Stockholm needs budget hotels according to new report

Stockholm needs more hotels in order to meet the considerable increasing tourism sector. Budget hotels and exclusive 5-star hotels are in demand according to a hotel report, commissioned by The City of Stockholm.

  “Several new hotels have been established in Stockholm the past few years but more are needed to meet the high demand. There is especially a shortage of low-budget hotels, which is a requirement for the city break tourism. We are at risk of halting the growth within our tourism sector if the deficiency continues,” said Olle Zetterberg, CEO of Stockholm Business Region.
