Deloitte ranks Swedish fast growers: Stockholm dominates

Sweden Technology Fast 50, Deloitte´s annual ranking published in November, contains 13 Stockholm based companies in the top 20 section. In total, 29 companies from the Stockholm area on the list.

Sweden Technology Fast 50 presents 50 of Sweden´s fastest growing technical companies, and among them are companies from the internet, software, greentech, and semiconductor segments of the technology industry.

Thirteen of the companies at the top 20 section of the list have headquarters in the Stockholm region. Stockholm city based company Keybroker is the winner of the 2011 Sweden Technology Fast 50 ranking; and, ranked number three and number four respectively on the list are Proximion Fiber Systems and Nanoradio – both of them from the Kista Science City, in the report labeled “Sweden’s Silicon Valley.”

The list also includes the category Rising Stars, where the 25 fastest growing technical companies that have been in operations between 3 to 5 years are ranked. That list includes 14 companies from the Stockholm area.
