Connect with top investors, startups and influencers from India – in Stockholm!

Top investors, startups, journalists and influencers from India are coming to Stockholm to attend the Stockholm Tech Week in September. They are all coming on the Delhi-Stockholm startup flight, organized by the City of Stockholm through Invest Stockholm, in collaboration with Sweden India Business Council and Air India. Their mission? To establish in Stockholm, invest in Swedish innovations and be inspired by the Nordic tech scene.

Stockholm and India have a special connection. As a world leading tech and creative hub, Stockholm attracts some of the best talents in the world. A majority of them come from India. In fact, more than every fifth labor migrant in Sweden is an Indian programmer.

“With a growing Indian community in Stockholm, an increased interest from Indian venture capitalists screening Swedish innovations, and Indian entrepreneurs looking to set up a business in Stockholm, the Stockholm-India ties have never been stronger. Add the newly established direct flight between Delhi and Stockholm, and the conditions for creative collaborations have improved significantly”, says Anna Gissler, CEO of Invest Stockholm.

To further this development, Invest Stockholm together with Sweden India Business Council, have invited an indian delegation to join the Stockholm Tech Week, during the second week in September. Among the delegates are mega influencer Miss Malini and startup founder Geetha Manjunath, CEO of Niramai, a novel breast cancer screening solution.
